We just got back from the boys’ first preschool dance recital. We went not knowing if they’d even get up there and perform. Oz had been saying for weeks that he didn’t want to do it, and they refused to practice during the rehearsal the day before. So we figured we’d sweeten the deal by offering them each a toy from Toy Story 3 if they performed. I guess it was a good incentive, because they went up to the stage without a problem and when the music started, it was all show!

Thank god Jordan was videotaping on his iPhone, because I was laughing so hard I couldn’t keep my camera still (let alone see through the streams of joyful tears spilling out of my eyes). Watching them up there dancing, really getting into it, made every cell in my body giggle with glee. Now that we are home, the boys have watched their performance about 10 times on the TV, dancing and singing along, and even critiquing their performance (Oz says he didn’t do the “brush back step” quite right in one part). I think they may have caught the bug.

That was just about the best Christmas gift they could have ever given me.

That is so much fun and they are so precious! I love when Jordan says “stop laughing” to you 😉

Ooh, ooh, ooh. Would they perform for us?
